Chateau at Chambord

Enormous chateau with very many fancy roof turret thingies

The chateau at Chambord. This is actually the "back" view, such as it is. Out of frame to the right are stables where they do frequent public horse-related shows of various kinds. At Chambord (unlike some other chateaux), there are no gigantic fancy gardens; here the attraction is the enormity of the chateau itself. Also of note here is the main central double-helix staircase, supposedly designed by da Vinci.
